national team setter started his professional career at Bargh Tehran club in
2004. He was a member of Iran national team from 2007 as he was a member of
Iran U19 team and they achieved gold medal in world championship beating China
in the final. Mahdavi joined the squad of Sarmaye Bank from 2015/2016 season and he got Iranian league title and Asian club championships 2
times in a row with Sarmaye Bank in last 2 season. The best setter of Asian clubs
championship 2016 in Myanmar decided to announce retirement from the national
team after Rio Olympic Games aiming to give more chances to younger players.
