It was year 2005 when
young and underestimated by many observers Robert Milczarek fought his way to
the starting line-up of Skra Belchatow and helped the team to win its very
first trophee, namely the Polish Cup. The injuries of other receivers and hard
work during the trainings let him establish as the first team player and be
voted the MVP of the Polish Cup tournament in 2005! It was the first trophee
for Milczarek and bełchatowian team, but surely not the last one: with 4 Polish
Championships, five Polish Cups and two medals of the CEV Volleyball Champions
League Milczarek is one of the players with the biggest numer of medals in the
Polish PlusLiga. Some one as a receiver, the others as a libero, his current
position.

Born and
educated in Tomaszow Mazowiecki, not very far from Belchatow, Milczarek is the
real example of the slightly undervaluated player, whose commitment and love
for the club helped him to become one of its greatest. When he left the
powerful club from Belchatow not many people believed, that he will be able to
come back – he did it even twice! His second spell lasted one year, from 2011
to 2012, and his third has started in 2015.
