It is surely not the
common situation, when PGE Skra Belchatow sign player with similar number of
medals of the Polish Championship, with none won in the yellow-black shirt!
Patryk Czarnowski is the only example.


The middle blocker
from Ostróda, in the beautiful Mazury region started his medal collection in
2004, whoen he was just 19 and played his first senior season in top Polish
flight for AZS Olsztyn. In the capital of Warmia and Mazury „PC" played
until 2007, winning 2 silver and 2 bronze medals, as the top spot had been
reserved for PGE Skra from 2005 to 2011. Taking the total of 6 bronze medals
and 4 silver, he finally took the gold starring for Kedzierzyn Kozle in 2016 and
2017. His other achievement is qualification to the 2014 CEV Volleyball
Champions League with Jastrzebski Wegiel.


Czarnowski
was part of the Polish national team, classified 2nd during the 2011 World Cup
but has never been given the regular place in the national team.
