 The
second of four brothers got a chance to develop as a player in Italy, after
signing for Copra Piacenza in 2011. In Italy he was part of a great team, with
Samuele Papi and Hristo Zalatnov leading the line-up. Nikolay moved to Poland
in 2012 and showed his skills in Kielce to change the club for Resovia Rzeszow,
where he won one gold and two silver medals of the Polish Championship. Despite
relatively young age he has already recorded caps for Bulgaria during the
biggest volleyball events, like World Championship, Olympic Games and European
Championship. After five years in Poland he is very fluent in Polish, which
helps him a lot to establish the very good relations with the fans.
