Seeking last semifinalist at Club World Championship

 

Fans will be out in their droves to help Zaksa Kedzierzyn-Kozle make the final push to the top four of the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship.

Opole, Poland, December 14, 2017 - After three tickets to the top four were booked on Wednesday it's now all down to one huge battle on Thursday to determine the last semifinalist of the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Chmapionship as pool play winds down in Opole and Lodz ahead of the final round in Krakow.

Hosts Zaksa Kedzierzyn-Kozle and defending champions Sada Cruzeiro Volei open play on Thursday afteroon in the decider in Opole - the winner joining Italian champions Cucine Lube Civitanova from Pool A, alongside European and Russian champions Zenit Kazan and wild card local favourites Skra Belchatow in advancing to Saturday's semifinals.



The closing day of pool play also features Lube against Sarmaye Bank in Pool A in Opole, which in combination with the critical match earlier will determine who finishes top of the pool to meet the second-ranked team of Pool B from Lodz.

In Lodz, China champions Shanghai Golden Age and Argentina champions Personal Bolivar will try to avoid going home winless when they open play in Pool B.

And to close the day, Skra and Zenit will clash to determine first place in the pool - though both have already qualified.
