Top scorer Evandro Guerra with 19 points was voted the MVP of the final, as Simon Robertlandy and Isac Santos added another 12 each and Filipe Ferraz 11 for the reigning world and South American champions.
A packed Mineirinho, with 14,000 turning up on Sunday morning for the final of the Brazil Superleague.Although Taubate, who featured Wallace Souza as their best scorer on 18 points, pressed from the service line, Sada Cruzeiro were highly more efficient in attacking.
