The annual event will be in its 13th edition this year, having first started in 1989, with Brazil’s Sada Cruzeiro winning the last two editions and three of the last four on home soil. It will be the second time Europe host the tournament after Italy hosted three of the first four editions from 1989 to 1992 before the tournament travelled to Qatar after a 17-year hiatus - and then Brazil for the past four editions.
