Four weeks out, fans in anticipation of star-studded Club Worlds in Poland

After Brazilian fans in 2016 in Betim, it's the Polish fans this year who will get to enjoy the top stars of world volleyball in the FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship.

Lausanne, Switzerland, November 14, 2017 - With exactly four weeks to go until first whistle at the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship excitement is mounting in anticipation of some of the world's top stars taking to the courts of Opole, Lodz and Krakow to contest the ultimate trophy for clubs in international volleyball.

Which star of the world's volleyball will light up next month?

Wilfredo Leon (Zenit Kazan), Facundo Conte (Shanghai Volleyball Club), Theo Lopes (Personal Bolivar), Jenia Grebennikov (Cucine Lube Civitanova) or Lukasz Zygadlo (Sarmayeh Bank Tehran).

These are just a few of the best players' names in world volleyball who will come to Poland with their teams.

Another great star out of the past, Poland's legendary Krzysztof Ignaczak, a multiple world, continental and national champion, will not be actually playing, but has been named official Ambassador of the competition.

For the first time in the history of the competition, Poland will be represented by two teams - ZAKSA Kedzierzyn-Kozle and PGE SKRA Belchatow with their stars Benjamin Toniutti and Mariusz Wlazly.

The 2017 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship features eight teams in two pools - one each in Opole and Lodz - playing a round-robin tournament from December 12 to 14. The top two of each pool will continue in Krakow with the semifinals on December 16, followed by the bronze medal match and final on December 17.
